Recently we launched our highly anticipated API, or application programming interface as its otherwise known, to allow greater flexibility and connectivivty to inbound aircraft bookings and customer data stored in each aircraft account on the Smart PPR platform.

Following feedback, our airfield customers wanted ways to connect to their valuable data from third party software for a whole variety of reasons, and so we set about coming up with a solution to allow that to happen which also broadens our range of software features.

We built a highly secure, yet powerful and fast API that now allows any of our airfield customers to quickly and easily connect to PPR request data and customer data from a wide variety of third party software that supports data from JSON or XML formats.

Security is at the heart of what we do and so we have ensured the data outputted is compliant, safe, secure and the connection is robust through security keys and access rights.

This is our first version of the API and we have plans for further expansion and development of the API as we continue to grow our platform. Since launch our airfield customers have used the API for invoicing purposes and display of bespoke information to airfield tower operators.
