Hello to the general aviation community, we have recently launched our brand new, shiny website. Our website has been launched whilst we continue working on our new web based app for airfields and airports to manage their PPR requests online, through an easy to use web based form.

The Smart PPR project was started in 2021 by a group of pilots in the UK that noticed when flying to various airfields around the UK the PPR (prior permission required) requests were all so different, some were by email, some by printed and scanned documents, some by phone and some were just impossible. There didn’t seem to be a standard way of obtaining PPR quickly and easily, especially in the current climate and digital age. And so Smart PPR was developed creating an online PPR request and management platform.
